Group-think and inclusiveness analysis are very much the mindset for the next month, which can broaden horizons as the Sun enters "Humanitarian" Aquarius. Although many people believe Aquarius is an Water Sign due to the association of the Water Bearer, however, that symbol is relative to Greek Mythology and not by the elements of earth, water, fire and air used for descriptive purposes in astrology. Aquarius is an Air sign and highly intellectual. Today, the Sun joins "Mental" Mercury and "Action-Ready" Mars in "Visionary" Aquarius propelling you to think and take action on future progress on a personal level, as well as, encompassing groups of people. Aquarian energy gives you the unique ability to work independently or as a member of a team for the soul collective. Independent ideas mixed with group cohesion can fire up an intellectual debate at the roundtable discussion, but with an eye on what's best for humanity on a holistic level can bring about future progress. Research, science, new age concepts, technological gadgets and gizmos of all sorts are on the agenda. You'll do better at least temporarily as a team player, but be sure to spend some time working "solo" and do your own self analysis. Once you've done all the research, you will have a confident zeal about presenting any data that you find. So whether you're trying to get the votes to swing in your favor at the board meeting, or obtaining a promotion at work, or if you need backing to fund your cause of saving the Elephants in Africa; the key is to back your ideas with verifiable research. Sentence building is important and construct your argument in such a way that presents the facts without insulting the members of the group. Meanwhile, have empathy for their opposing viewpoints. This strategy can take you miles from where you are right now. If you disagree with a group member, try to find something about their proposal that is good and say, "Good Point on X, but we also need to look at the Y part of the equation and come to a common ground." This way, people feel you are willing to look at their viewpoints with relevance rather than them feeling like their ideas are completely tossed out the window. Stroke the ego, rather than insulting it. Moreover, if you back your ideas with tangible data/facts and reliable sources, you may just impress the board members or group members and that will give you the opportunity to accomplish your mission.
