Neptune Goes Stationary Retrograde; Follow your Dreams but Stay in Good Spirits!

Today the "persistent" Taurus Moon, along with Mercury and Venus in the signs of "security-conscious" Cancer steers us towards desiring luxurious surroundings and secure relationships and a stable home-life. This theme will hallmark the summer months as other planets enter into the sign Cancer and aspect in such ways that deepen the desire for a real life including a solid career, a healthy relationship, a happy home-life and a secure place to live. Unfinished business and tying up loose ends may be on the agenda to get to where you want to go.

Neptune, known as the planet of "Inspiration & Illusion," has been in retrograde since February is now in "stationary retrograde" where it will remain thru November 13th when it turns direct. Neptune governs over the subconscious, the dream realms, translucent thoughts, meditation, and spirituality. Oftentimes, it is a great inspiration to poets, mystics and musicians, but on the downside it can bring about escapism, alcohol and drugs. Like everything, the key to to stay in balance. You can use this time to go within and discover the dreams you've been tucking away in your subconscious and find clever ways to bring it out in your present life-time. Your intuition is intensified at this time and since Neptune is in Pisces,  acts of compassion including good deeds for the local community, society at large or maybe just a friend in need may help keep the energy on a positive note. In any event, it's important to stay grounded, focused and above all - POSITIVE! Wallowing in self-pity is worst thing you can do now. If you find yourself there, find a way to snap out of it real fast. Due to several planets headed for the water sign of Cancer and the Neptune's influence, it's vital to harness your intuition, creativity, talents and abilities in a creative way. If you're on a learning curve - that's Ok! Taking up a new instrument, a dance class, writing a book, or going for a swim are all ways to keep your mind, body and spirit active, alert and positive. Above all, avoid negative people and situations over the next several weeks. Negative influences and overindulgence in anything - food, alcohol, gambling or anything considered "addictive" is likely to bring mayhem to your life. Focus on what you can build, Not what you can destroy. If you feel down and out, snap out of it as hysteria may take hold. Remember, the mind is a powerful entity and you are the co-creator of your own reality.
